Parks and Recreation

  • December 16, 2014 - Dog Park closed January 5-14, 2015

    The dog park at James D. Kriegh Park will be closed January 4 - 14, 2015 for site improvements.  It will re-open January 15, barring any inclement weather delays. For more info, please click here.

  • December 1, 2014 - Winter Hours for Parks start December 1, 2014

    From December 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015,  all Oro Valley parks will close at 9:00pm (instead of 10:00 pm).

Parks and Recreation is a consolidation of the Parks & Recreation department and the cultural resource components previously managed by various Town departments.

Municipal services are provided in six areas including parks, recreation, trails, aquatics, and cultural and historic resources.
