Community Academy is a fun, interactive, and award-winning opportunity to learn about your Town and local government. Join staff and your neighbors to learn more about Oro Valley and help shape the next 10 years!
The 2024 Community Academy program will be held throughout October. Classes will happen twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 6-8 PM at Town Hall. Participants are encouraged to attend in person but may join the classes online. Please note, online attendees may not be able to participate in group activities.
The calendar and class topics will be posted soon. Class topics will cover key focus areas of the community's next 10-year action plan, known as OV's Path Forward. Topics for this year's academy include:
- The community's draft vision for the future
- Housing and development
- Traffic and roadways
- Environment and views
- Water resource planning
- And more!
