Online: A credit card payment can be made on your portal once your application has been approved. Renewals can also be paid through your portal Additional requirements:
Over the phone: A credit card payment can be made over the phone upon approval of your application or renewal. In Person: Our office can accept check, money order, cash or credit card for payment of your business license or renewal.
All advertisements for short term rentals must contain the License number issued by the Town.
Short Term Rental Owners must conduct background checks within 24 hours of every booking on each guest if this function is not being performed by an online booking platform. Background checks by online booking platforms are sufficient to meet this requirement.
If you already have an account in the Customer Portal, you may access the Short Term Rental application through your existing account.
Create an account within the Town of Oro Valley Customer Portal.

If you already have an account in the Customer Portal, you may proceed to the next step.
Once logged in to the Customer Portal, select the 'GO' button under 'My Portal.'
Click 'Apply Online'
In the dropdown menu that appears, select 'Business License' and select the option for 'Short Term Rental/Vacation Rental License'
Follow the steps to complete your application.
