WHEREAS, Roche, one of the world’s largest biotech companies, has become a global supplier of transformative innovative solutions across major disease areas; and

WHEREAS, Roche is focused on driving diagnostic certainty that assists in a healthier future for patients across the globe; and

WHEREAS, to ensure the advancement of science to change patients’ lives, Roche has expanded their campus by adding a new building dedicated to their personalized healthcare business; and

WHEREAS, Roche provides job opportunities for the region and attracts world-class talent to the Oro Valley community; and

WHEREAS, Roche is a cornerstone of Oro Valley’s high-tech and bioscience presence, which helps strengthen the industry and local economy.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Joseph C. Winfield, Mayor of Oro Valley, do hereby proclaim January 22, 2025, to be
